Composed gradually over the course of a year, this album served as a vehicle for me to test the waters of various sounds, styles, and compositional methods within the drone and ambient genres, exploring everything from plunderphonics to field recordings. While not originally intended to be made public, the project grew on me, and I decided it would be worth putting out there, both as a documentation of the musical journey I took, and as a referential landmark to highlight how I develop as an artist in future endeavors. This album is equal parts sampled-based manifesto, and a vague thesis on where I plan to go down the road. I am truly humbled to share it with the world - U/D
